Our Story
Charlotte’s specialist PT clinic since 2014.
Dr. Priya Nair founded Momentum after a decade in hospital-based outpatient settings, where 20-minute sessions and aide-heavy models made it impossible to deliver the depth of care she was trained for. She opened Momentum with one room and one treatment table. Today the practice has 4 treatment rooms, a full gym, and a team of three specialists - but the patient-to-therapist ratio and appointment length remain what they were on day one.
Momentum sits on Charlotte’s Park Road, convenient to South End, Dilworth, Myers Park, and Montclaire - and within 10 minutes of Novant Health and Atrium Health facilities for post-surgical patients.

Dr. Priya Nair, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Nair graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2012 and immediately pursued her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist board certification (OCS), earning it in 2015. She has 14 years of clinical experience focused on post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation, with particular expertise in total hip and knee replacement recovery protocols.
She is a faculty instructor for the NAIOMT orthopedic manual therapy curriculum and publishes an annual clinical outcomes report for Momentum so patients and referral physicians can see actual patient data, not marketing language.
